MagiCare originated in the wish to secure children and adults an organic and price competitive alternative, when it comes to taking care of skin, hair and lips for various reasons.

MagiCare is created by me, Loui Törnqvist. I am the mother of 10 year-old Olivia, 8 year-old August and 4 year-old Selma. When I became a mother for the second time, it became imperative to me to give my children the best of the best when it comes to organic skin care products. While on maternity leave I read blogs, articles and books about ecology and children’s health. Some articles mentioned the possibility of creating your own universal balm for your children, and on maternity leave you do sometimes get a little time to try things out. I started by creating Olivia’s Magic Balm at home in my kitchen. The magic balm immediately became a big hit at the changing table, when I saw how effectively it worked on red buttocks, bumps and tiny scratches from the children’s nails. I produced one batch and started handing out the balm to my friends. They were all very excited and demanded more! So, I decided that Olivia’s Magic Balm should be available to everyone who wish to treat their skin with an organic and efficient alternative. Later on, August’s Magic Wax and Selma’s Magic Lip Balm also came on the market.

MagiCare ApS was founded in 2012 and is the proud producer of Olivia’s Magic Balm, August’s Magic Wax and Selma’s Magic Lip Balm.

Why us organic skin care?
The skin is the largest organ of the human body, and it breathes and absorbs everything that we expose it to. So, if you use synthetically produced products the chemicals of those products will penetrate and stack up inside of your body. That is why it is important to use organic skin care products, that are free of parabens and synthetically produced chemicals.
SUSTAINABILITY
Besides from sparing your own body and your children’s bodies by using organic skin care, you are actually also sparing the environment. In organic products the natural ingredients used for the manufacturing have not been exposed to pesticides, and thus no toxic material ends up in the ground. MagiCare’s products are sold in glass containers instead of plastic packaging in order to prevent plastic chemicals from seeping into the balm.
At MagiCare we think about every step of the process, and in all ways possible we produce our products according to the certified organic and sustainable standards with regards to paper, cardboard etc. We want to help build a society, where we live in greater harmony with one another and in balance with nature.
